Hilary improves by the second! Her first release "Why Not" was a disappointment and I thought that she would flop as a singer, but she wowed me, and many others with her next single "So Yesterday" in conjunction with her album "Metamorphosis" which shot to the #1 spot. Well deserved I must say.
Hilary is probably a better vocalist than Britney and a better actress too. I am seeing a mutation of a huge superstar in the future. Not that she isn't already. Hilary is giving the Olsen twins a run for their money as she overtakes them to become the new teenage icon that thousands of teens will support and idolize.
'Come Clean'' is incredibly catchy teenage pop and the first few times you listen to it, you can never get the tunes out of your head! You just have to keep singing the line where she goes "let the rain fall down, and wake my dreams, let it wash away my sanity" and when you stop, you feel the urge to go on singing. A huge proof would be when nicknames of many teenager's on their messenger service have a line taken from this song.
Hilary is overly underrated as a star and I am waiting for her to make her breakthrough in mainstream pop like Britney and Christina did. I hope it happens soon. I can't wait for new material from Hilary.
